my picks for the 2009 playoffs are:
Atlanta Falcons vs Arizona Cardinals
arizonas strong points are the offense putting up points... this will be put to the test against atlantas defense, who will come up big causing 3 turnovers, and holding the cardinals to 17 points in a 24-17 win.
San Diego Chargers vs Indianapolis Colts
this will start off score for score, both teams offenses explosive, leading to an indy turnover late in the second quarter, leaving the score 17-14 san diego at halftime. san diego will continue its offensive explosiveness, and score on the first drive, and indy's offense will falter. indy will rally in the 4th quarter, but ultimately lose thanks to 3 chargers field goals in a win 30-21
Baltimore Ravens vs Miami Dolphins
the dolphins defense will come out strong and full of heart preventing the ravens from scoring in the first 3 quarters. the dolphins will lead by a field goal. then, off a timely ed reed pick six, the ravens will take the lead. the dolphins will get a quick score, leaving too much time on the clock, and the ravens will march downfield, and pull off a win under rookie joe flaccos poise under pressure 14-10
Philadelphia Eagles vs Minnesota Vikings
after an all offensive first half, it will be tied up 14-14 going into the 3rd quarter. the eagles will then score 20 unanswered points, one of the touchdowns off an interception returned for a td. 24-14
Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans
the defensive game of the year will turn out quite the opposite as both teams estabelish the run early on. it will be the titans however, who pick it up and put an end to the ravens run game late in the 3rd, forcing flacco to go to the air, where he will be picked off, and that will put the game away, 28-21 titans

this will be a game down to the last second. turner will have another 200+ rushing game, and ryan will show patience and not throw a single pick. the panthers run game wont take off, and delhomme will have to pick his team up. he will have a great game, but carolinas defense wont provide the stops when needed most, and the falcons will win this nailbiter 28-24
Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants
mcnabb will come out red hot and go 12 for 12 right in for a score, and put the eagles up for good. this will be the only touchdown scored all night, and the giants offense will have a rough day. the eagles manage 3 field goals, and hold the giants to 2 field goals in a 16-6 win

the chargers will go down early 14-0 at halftime. phillip rivers will then take control of the clock in the 3rd, and run down the whole quarter in a draining touchdown drive. the steelers will run one back, and put a tired offense right back on the field. the o-line will let in a safety on a missed read, and rivers will be blindsided and lose the ball, which will be recovered for a score. the game will stay at 21-7

matt ryan will show he is a rookie by committing crucial errors in judgement, and giving the ball away twice in eagles territory which will result in touchdown drives for the eagles. it will be 21-7 at halftime. the falcons will hit a pair of field goals early in the 3rd, but it wont be enough as the eagles overtake the falcons 28-13
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans
the titans will come out flat, and the steelers will take advantage by getting 2 quick scores early on. the titans will narrow that two touchdown lead by only one with a last second td drive before halftime. getting the ball back at the start of the 3rd quarter, the titans will run down almost all of the 3rd quarter, but only settle for a field goal. after a steelers 3 and out on their own 20, they will be forced to punt and give the titans the ball on the 50. the titans wont take advantage of the field position, and punt it back, but after a lucky bounce, it will be downed on the 2. after a bad snap, roethlisberger will fall on the ball in the endzone and the titans will come within 2 points. they will rely on rob bironas to kick a long 57 yard field goal as time expires to pull the titans ahead 15-14

the eagles defense will keep the titans to one field goal in the first half, and the titans will do the same. tied at 3-3, going into the 4th, the eagles will hit desean jackson deep and move ahead by 7. the titans will again tie it up, and the eagles will rely heavily on david akers to win the game for them. he hits it from 50 yards and the eagles win the super bowl 13-10

ok, lets see, the giants lost to the browns... wow... and yet they won the nfc east... they also happened to lose to the eagles... dallas lost twice to the redskins in "not-so-big" games, and the eagles lost twice to the redskins... a qb had a bad game... and here you are acting like you know how things go... read the title of the question... predictions... as in im predicting this will happen... not guaranteeing it... in case you didnt realize, this season is all messed up... your dumb enough however to go by who loses to who... and its sad you actually tried to make a point on here... w.e...
