Am I being a selfish brat or am I entitled to feel this way?

I am a 28 year old female getting married for the first time to a great guy. We just bought our first home and I have a son.
Well my dad makes BIG money and my stepmother holds the pursestrings. About 5 years ago my stepsister had a big wedding and although it wasnt spoken..I know dad payed for most of it...she and her fiance didnt make enough money for that...
Well...I assumed when I decided to plan my day...which is only going to be a reception...we are having a private ceremony in jeans a few weeks before..my dad would help me ....and stepmom says they will take care of the catering part since it is usually the biggest cost. I still cant afford the photographer, cake, dress, decor,
I dont feel that it is right that they can put out all this money for my step sister and just screw me out of my day!!! I havent said anything because I have never been outspoken but I am crushed inside!! I am saving them a ton of money by not having a church wedding!! What should I do?
my brother offered to talk to him ...he knows how I feel...at xmas time he got a couple pairs of jeans and my stepsister got a Iphone...I told him I should take care of it myself.
