i want to buy a camcorder and a digital camera.can i wait till thanksgiving day?

i want to buy a camcorder(around $400) and 2 digital cameras(around $250 each ) .can i wait till thanksgiving day?will I get a get a deal worth waiting for it? and does the thanksgiving day sale is for all the articles? (i want to buy 100 DVDs,100 CDs,camera memory card,one USB drive, and lot of gifts for my newly born daughter) and take them to india. could you also suggest me a shop.walmart/bestbuy /which other store should i wait in the queue for???pls suggest.
