Have you applied to be a police officer and failed the background check?

My boyfriend just applied and he is a great person, he was a military police officer and is now temporarliy a casino security supervisor, anyway he had background checks for both and passed but today he failed the cop test, wtf???? i feel horrible this was his dream job, its what he was born to do.
